Important Info: NEW Meet format/Officials
We
started this meet a few years ago with the idea that we would create a
meet opportunity for about 100 Northwest Conference student-athletes as
they head into their spring break. With small numbers, the meet was
manageable for a Friday afternoon with limited officials. Due to the
major increase in the number of entries in recent years, at the request
of several schools we are doing away with the “open pit” format in the
field events which now creates a need for several more officials to
help run all of the events. To honor the “no open pit” request we are
asking that each attending school be ready to provide 1-2 people to
help out in the field events if necessary.

McCulloch Stadium, I-5 Exit #253, head west on Mission St.
Entry Information
- entry deadline: Tuesday, March 18th, 12:00 noon
- ALL entries must be done at www.directathletics.com.
- scratch deadline: Thursday, march 20th, 12:00 NOON
- Final scratches due via email to [email protected] by 12:00 Noon. There will be NO day of meet additions/changes.
- ENTRY FEE: $150 per team or $20 per individual

Hammer events will be contested in Salem behind the Math Learning
Center at 1850 Oxford SE [DIRECTIONS]
- Our
facility is an 8-lane rekortan surface. We allow 1/4 inch spikes
maximum for all running events, long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole
vault and javelin. NO EXCEPTIONS. We will use two runways for Long
Jump/Triple Jump going in same direction.
Clerking
Field events: Clerking will take place 20 minutes prior to all field events at the event site.
Running events: Report to clerking tent at northeast corner of the track shed at least 30 minutes before your event. NOTE:
We may re-seed events based on declared entries 30 minutes prior to
each running event. Please make sure your athletes are checked in by
that time or THEY WILL BE SCRATCHED!
Dressing Facilities
Available
only at Sparks Center on Willamette’s main campus (2 blocks away).
Visiting athletes must provide their own towels. Stadium locker room
is off-limits to visiting teams.
Training Room/Trainers
Available at McCulloch Stadium 90 minutes prior to start of events.
Results
- Will be posted on back wall near south end of stands as they become official.
- Live results updated after each event is final will be posted HERE
